European Consultation Workshop - REDI4Heat project
Decarbonising the heating and cooling sector by increasing the share of renewable energy is one of
the most challenging issues not only in the EU energy transition but also in practice. The
decarbonisation targets, methods and measures are already planned in the National Energy and
Climate Plans (NECPs) of the Member States. But how the success of these measures is tracked? The
answer will be found during this workshop; Strategic Policy Priority Areas (SPPA) and Key Success
Factors (KSF) will be proposed for monitoring the measures. Focusing on 5 Member States (Croatia,
Germany, Greece, Poland, Portugal), the SPPA and KSF proposed especially for them will be unfolded.
Practical examples and best practices across EU will be also presented, to see what green cities do
well. The workshop ends with an interactive session among panellists, relevant stakeholders and the
audience.
